CAMP FREDDY brought in the New Year at the world-famous The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, December 31 with a show that featured drummer Matt Sorum introducing original GUNS N’ ROSES timekeeper Steven Adler for a version of “Paradise City”, guitarists Billy Morrison and Steve Stevens (BILLY IDOL) being joined by THE CULT’s Billy Duffy for the BILLY IDOL song “Rebel Yell”, and an ear-splitting finale that brought both Lemmy Kilmister (MOTÖRHEAD) and Phil Campbell (MOTÖRHEAD) onto the stage with Steve Jones(SEX PISTOLS) for versions of “God Save The Queen” and the MOTÖRHEAD classic “Bomber”.

CAMP FREDDY is the Los Angeles-based “jam” group featuring Dave Navarro (JANE’S ADDICTION, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS), Billy Morrison (ex-THE CULT bassist, current CIRCUS DIABLO vocalist), Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N’ ROSES), Donovan Leitch (son of legendary folk singer Donovan), and Chris Chaney (JANE’S ADDICTION).
CAMP FREDDY’s lineup for the New Year’s performance included BILLY IDOL guitarist Steve Stevens and THE CULT bassist Chris Wyse due to Navarro and Chaney being out of town.
Since its formation seven years ago when they rocked the opening of The Standard Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles at the invitation of Brent Bolthouse, CAMP FREDDY has performed on both coasts of America and on national television shows.
