Rock group Unwritten Law held a limited engagement album release party in a private Hollywood Hills Mansion last weekend. Promoting their upcoming record Swans, The Southern California natives played an acoustic performance before a crowd of 50 people while debuting new material. Lead singer Scott Russo began the night by thanking the crowd for their continuous support and dedication over the past decade. The band accommodated fans as they asked the audience to build the set list, causing a mild shouting match across the room from various song titles. They finished their forty five minute performance with Seeing Red before inviting everyone to the Roxy for the after party.

The celebration continued with a hard rock performance as they took the stage on the Sunset Strip. Guitarist Steve Morris began with heavier melodies that instantly energized the crowd. Drummer Dylan Howard thrived off the momentum fans released as he sent addicting rhythms in the air. Pat “PK” Kim completed the four-piece with his bass while adding back up vocals in various songs. The crowd participation was unbelievable as multiple people toasted with drinks in hand along with Russo. The Ninety Minute set list lasted well into the early morning as members stumbled across stage from excessively celebrating. Swans will be released March 29th from Suburban Noize Records. Catch Unwritten Law this summer as they join the Warped Tour.
